Panoramic Dioramas are environments which do not strictly enforce orientation or perspective. Viewers can move within the space to see new things, or old things differently.
You may click and drag your mouse to control your viewport. You may use your keyboard’s arrows to accomplish something similar.
This project was created by Mitch Trale — an artist living in Oakland, California.

I believe that these panoramas express an illusive tension, by projecting a hope for a truly 3D web onto our 2D expectations.
We can only sort out the real boundaries of these spaces through motion, and though some panos employ auto-rotation or fly-throughs, there is always an opportunity for a self-determined vantage.
This control — manifested through angle, FOV, speed, etc — runs parallel to the pseudo-spatial decision-making we engage in as we surf the web, creating our own uniquely personal vectors, wakes, and visions.
